Clif Shot Bloks are the result. They are convenient, easy to chew, and provide comparable nutrition to Shot gel, so they'll easily fit into your training and racing nutrition program. Shot Bloks provide carbohydrates and electrolytes in nutritional values very similar to Shot Energy Gel. The key ingredient that is contained in both products is brown rice syrup which provides easily assimilated carbohydrates for working muscles. In addition, both products also contain the mineral salts known as electrolytes, which enable electrical impulses to travel normally throughout your body, thus permitting proper bodily function. Through proper food and fluid intake you can restore your electrolyte stores that may be lost through sweat so you don't experience any declines in your athletic performance.
Shot Bloks are specifically created, each in a 10 gram size, so that 3 Bloks provide 100 calories which makes it easy to track caloric intake. There are 6 Bloks to a single serve package, so one package provides 200 calories.
