Each bar provides complex and simple carbohydrates for stable energy levels, high-quality protein for muscle recovery, and 22 vitamins and minerals.

How do Results for Women Complete Energy Bars compare with Myoplex Lite Bars?
These bars are similar in nutritional profile including calorie content, carbohydrate, fat, calcium, and sodium content. However, EAS researchers designed Myoplex Lite Bars for fitness enthusiasts who participate in more rigorous training programs. As such, these bars contain more protein, especially more whey protein, which is high in branched chain amino acids (BCAAs). BCAAs are important for hard-training athletes since BCAAs make up 1/3 of muscle tissue, yet are catabolized readily in times of stress (such as exercise).

The FDA calculates food product labels using approved computer systems, which rounds values of each ingredient (both macronutrients and micronutrients). These rounded values are then added to produce the final label. Since each ingredient is rounded before it is summated, the 'error' is also additive, and the final label may appear to be 'off'. Examples of the 'rounding' guidelines set by the FDA are as follows:

• Products that contain more than 1 gram of protein may be rounded to the nearest 1-gram increment. Therefore, a product containing 15.4 grams protein would be rounded to 15 g on the product label.
• Total Fat per serving is rounded to the nearest 0.5 increment if the total is less than 5 grams. For example, a product containing 4.25 grams fat per serving is rounded to 4.5 g for the product label.
• Products containing more than 50 kcal/serving may be rounded to the nearest 10 kcal for the label.
• Natural variation in food manufacturing processes and raw material lots are inherent in food production. Therefore, variations of 20% are permitted on food label claims.

In any bar, certain fats are necessary to bind ingredients together, to provide emulsification, to maintain shelf life and to present the correct mouth feel. Note that the total amount of saturated fat in the Myoplex Lite bars is relatively low.
